Last month, Ubisoft disclosed through its financial report that Skull & Bones, their upcoming strategic action game, which has faced six delays since its original fall 2018 release date, is now slated for a new release window between January and March 2024.
According to recent reports from Insider Gaming, a site known for reliable Ubisoft leaks, the game is allegedly scheduled for release on February 16, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. They anticipate the formal announcement of this revised release date "in the next couple of weeks, possibly at The Game Awards."
Furthermore, the site also reported plans for Ubisoft to launch a Premium version of the game, containing undisclosed content. They stated that those who purchase the Premium version will be abe to enjoy three days of early access.
Skull & Bones is an open-world multiplayer game that draws inspiration from the golden age of piracy in the Indian Ocean, where you will face various challenges on your way to becoming a notorious pirate. Craft unique ships and embark on immersive survival adventures in a vast oceanic world. Along the way, you will gather resources, expand your influence, and choose to adventure alone or team up with two friends to expand your pirate empire. The game offers game modes such as PvE or PvEvP modes, providing thrilling challenges including naval battles with other factions and pirates.
