直到最近，CDPR 的全球公关总监 Radek Grabowski 向外媒 GamesRadar+ 透露确认，这个《Phantom Liberty》资料片并非免费，而是需要玩家额外付费购买，但定价方面尚未定夺，仅表示会比全家游戏更加便宜。顺带一提，此前 CDPR 透露未来开发计划时提到，《Cyberpunk 2077》系列确定将会推出续作，开发代号为《Project Orion》，因此即使资料片推出之后，未来不夜城的故事还会继续。
