Ankake Spa, the team who brought us Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity, has released a new trailer for their latest creation, Touhou Shinsekai: Longing for an Alternative World. The trailer showcases some of the level designs and character skills. The game is scheduled to launch on July 13 for Nintendo Switch, and July 14 for Steam. The release date for Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 has not yet been announced.

Touhou Shinsekai: Longing for an Alternative World, previously titled Touhou Choushinsei, is an action role-playing game developed by Ankake Supa and published by Marvelous. The game is set in “Gensokyo”, a land deep in the mountains of Japan, which is isolated from the world by barrier. Players will assume the role of Reimu and Marisa who were blown outside the barrier by a strange phenomenon, where they will meet Touko who possesses supernatural powers and yearns for Gensokyo.
