Nintendo has announced that Metroid Fusion, a classic Game Boy Advance title, will be available on its subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online, starting on March 9. This is part of Nintendo's dedication to bring some of its most iconic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles to the service. As a subscriber, players will be able to access and play the game on their Nintendo Switch consoles.
Prequel to Metroid Dread that was released in 2021, Metroid Fusion tells the story of Samus Aran, a bounty hunter who is attacked by a dangerous parasite while on a mission to the Metroids' home planet. She is cured of the parasite by using DNA from the Metroids, which gives her new powers. Despite this, Samus must now face a new threat: the 'X' parasite. The game offers players an engaging storyline and challenging platform gameplay with elements of exploration, all within the classic Metroid style.
