At the PlayStation Showcase 2023, Bungie, the developer behind Destiny series and Halo series, officially unveiled their in-development project Marathon, a sci-fi PvP shooting game. The game will be launched for PS5 and PC with full support for cross-play and cross-save.

Marathon is a sci-fi PvP extraction shooter that invites players to take on the role of cybernetic mercenaries called Runners. In this game, players will embark on a thrilling adventure to explore a forgotten colony on the planet Tau Ceti IV, as they strive to acquire wealth, gain recognition, and establish a reputation for themselves.
