The anime adaptation of the light novel series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, created by Japanese author SunSunSun, recently announced a delay from its original premiere in April 2024 to July 2024.
Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou, a stunning half-Russian half-Japanese student, is considered the most popular girl in school due to her beauty and elegance. Despite her captivating appearance, Alisa's aloof demeanor keeps most of her classmates at a distance. However, she has developed a connection with Masachika Kuze, her benchmate who is often seen indulging in anime and gacha games. Although Alisa is hesitant to reveal her true feelings, she expresses her affection for Masachika in Russian, unaware that he understands the language. As they banter back and forth, their relationship gradually grows more intimate, giving Alisa the chance to finally express her true emotions without reservation.
