Back in early 2022, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who previously served as the director for The Witcher 3 and the producer for Cyberpunk 2077 at CD Projekt Red, announced the establishment of a new studio called Rebel Wolves. The studio is currently developing its debut title, a 3A dark fantasy RPG based on the Unreal Engine 5, and is planned to be released on both consoles and PC.

It is not until recently that Rebel Wolves Studio finally revealed the title of their upcoming game – Dawnwalker, accompanied by the release of brand new concept artwork.

According to previous statements from Rebel Wolves, their aim is to create a breathtaking world filled with intense emotions and unique experiences. Most importantly, they want to share their boundless passion for games, understanding what players enjoy because they are gamers themselves. Rebel Wolves' mission is to revolutionize the RPG genre, taking it to new heights, while also establishing a studio where developers can thrive. Through shared goals and a spirit of camaraderie, they aspire to collaboratively create the world's best RPGs.

By the way, in November 2022, Rebel Wolves Studio announced that it has secured strategic investment from NetEase Games. However, the studio will continue to operate independently and retain ownership of the intellectual property of their ongoing projects.
