Following the official release of Final Fantasy XVI, producer Naoki Yoshida has also traveled to various countries for events, including meetups in Taiwan and Malaysia. He recently participated in an interview on the Taiwanese YouTube channel "木曜4超玩", where he expressed his personal thoughts. He mentioned, "... I really hope that game consoles can be unified. It would be easier for both developers and players if everyone could buy the same console.
Even before the release of Final Fantasy XVI, Naoki Yoshida emphasized multiple times that players should consider purchasing a PS5 console, as versions for other platforms wouldn't be available in the short term. Still, Yoshida had previously promised in interviews that they would take the time to optimize the PC version and eventually release a PC version of the game at some point in the future.
