本作《Layers of Fears》建立于《Layers of Fear》、《Layers of Fear: Inheritance》与《Layers of Fear 2》的基础上，同时也提供更令人惊讶的崭新故事以及方向。此外，还支援光线追踪、HDR 效果、4K 分辨率等，皆在呈现出最身临其境、并发自内心的恐怖体验。不仅如此，官方表示 《Layers of Fears》的整体叙述方式，将会为玩家带来与众不同的体验，从而感受真正的恐惧！
