The Japanese light novel series The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash, created by Honobonoru500, announced its upcoming TV anime adaptation at the end of last year. Today, the official release of its first trailer revealed that the anime will air in 2024. At the same time, the main voice actor lineup was also announced, as well as the confirmation that Studio Massket will handle the anime's production.
The story of The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash follows a girl named Ivy who reincarnates in a world where "skill is everything." She becomes a timid yet kind Tamer, but due to being the weakest "No Star Tamer," she is ostracized by her family and others, and even faces life-threatening dangers. In order to survive, she sets out on a journey, but the only monster she manages to tame along the way is the weakest slime, Sora. For the weakest duo, the world full of monsters seems too harsh... Or is it?
