The game introduced a beloved female protagonist named Jill Warrick, who has garnered a significant following. In fact, many players have even included her in their "waifu" list.
In addition, it has recently been revealed that Japanese motion capture actors, Mika Shibai and Katsuyuki Yamazaki, are both involved in the motion capture for Final Fantasy XVI, in which Mika Shibai portrays the female protagonist, Jill Warrick, while Katsuyuki Yamazaki portrays Clive Rosfield. Interestingly, both actors have also previously participated in the motion capture for Final Fantasy VII Remake, with Mika Shibai portraying the beloved character Tifa and Katsuyuki Yamazaki as the protagonist, Cloud.
