ga动视暴雪总裁兼 COO 的 Daniel Alegre 近日在财报电话会议上确定证实了今年的《Call of Duty》系列最新作将会由曾经负责过《Call of Duty：Modern Warfare 3》、《Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare》、《Call of Duty: WWII》的开发商 Sledgehammer Games 制作，而且推出日常也非常理想，预计有希望在今年秋季发表。
Daniel Alegre 也在会议补充说道，表示这款全新的《Call of Duty》作品是为次世代体验所打造的，具有跨战役、多人游戏、合作游戏模式，并且会有非常惊人的视觉效果，同时会与现有的 COD 生态系统集成以及增强其功能，更多相关消息有待官方今后公布。
不久前有传闻这款《Call of Duty》系列最新作将会名为《Call of Duty:WWII Vanguard》，舞台会重新回到第二次世界大战。
