近日《战国无双 5》制作人鲤沼久史接受外媒 JP Games 采访时被问道，目前还有任何游戏题材想将其无双化的，采访者认为《人中之龙》系列是个不错的选择，而鲤沼久史给出的答复是，现在没有特别的想法，任何游戏都有可能，但他觉得《超级玛丽欧》系列会是首选。
大家应该都 Koei Tecmo 应该算是无双作品的始祖，推出过非常多款无双系列作品，而且曾经与 Nintendo 合作开发过《塞尔达传说》、《圣火降魔录》之类的无双作品，所以若是双方愿意，还真的有可能会出现《超级玛丽欧无双》.... 顺带一提，《战国无双 5》预定将在 2021 年 6 月 24 日正式发售，登陆 Playstation 4 / Nintendo Switch 平台，至于 PC Steam 版本则会在 7 月 27 日发售。
