After the official announcement of the collaboration between Dead by Daylight and Alien last week, developer Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that the crossover is set to be launched on August 30. It has also been revealed that Ellen Ripley, the iconic heroine from the Alien series, will be included as a Survivor in the game, alongside a brand new Xenomorph Killer.
The collaboration with Alien introduces a fresh map known as Nostromo Wreckage, a playful take on the iconic ship from the movie. This map comprises seven Control Stations that grant exclusive access to a network of tunnels designed solely for The Xenomorph.
The Xenomorph is equipped with a new ability called Runner Mode, allowing it to move on all fours, significantly reducing its Terror Radius. However, this power can be countered by Survivor-exclusive Remote Flame Turrets, which could be found also at the Control Stations.
Ripley, on the other hand, features her own unique perks such as Light Footed that enables silent running, as well as Lucky Star, which temporarily masks pools of blood and grunts of pain for 10 seconds when hiding inside a locker.
