早在 2003 年，迪士尼曾计划制作《王国之心》系列改编动画剧集，但最后并没有成功推出。而担任此动画的执行制片人 Seth Kearsley 近日在 Youtube 上公开了当年的内部试播动画，其中出现的主要角色包括 Sora、Riku 、Kairi、Donald 以及 Goofy 等人，而且部分角色都有旁白配音。
虽然不确定这个影片最终会不会被因为版权原因下架，但 Seth Kearsley 明确表示自己并非此试播集的拥有人，也不会从中获利，将其公开只是想展示他参与过的作品而已。此外，据他所述，当时这集试播实际上在内部反应不错，可惜最后还是取消了项目。至于动画看起来非常粗糙是正常现象，因为只是用于内部试播而已，可以理解为草稿作。
