Netflix recently unveiled the official trailer for the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the classic manga, YuYu Hakusho, created by Yoshihiro Togashi. Alongside this, they've also released several character trailers.
The global premiere of the series is scheduled for December 14.
The series is directed by Sho Tsukikawa, known for his work on the live-action adaptation of Let Me Eat Your Pancreas, while Tatsurou Mishima, credited for the live-action Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, is the scriptwriter.
YuYu Hakusho is a work created by the renowned Japanese manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1994 and has since inspired various adaptations, including TV anime, games, stage plays, and other works.
The original story of YuYu Hakusho follows the tale of Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old delinquent who, after dying in a car accident while trying to save a child, gets a second chance at life through a twist of fate. He becomes an Underworld Detective, attempting to solve various supernatural incidents.
