近日在《Fallout》系列 25 周年纪念活动上，外媒 Dualshockers 采访了过去曾负责《Fallout: New Vegas》的黑曜石工作室 CEO Feargus Urquhart，其中就提到是否有意愿制作《Fallout》系列新作的话题，得到的答复是「当然，如果有机会制作的话肯定会做，只是这个机会会出现吗？」，而且 Feargus Urquhart 也非常喜欢《Fallout》系列。
顺带一提，此前在 外媒 IGN 采访 Bethesda 总监 Todd Howard 得知，目前 Bethesda 旗下的《The Elder Scrolls》系列最新续作《The Elder Scrolls 6》还处于前期开发阶段，而在这之后的下款作品将会着手研发《Fallout 5》。而目前黑曜石工作室正在研发的作品有《Avowed》、《The Outer Worlds 2》等等，所以暂时应该也不会看到黑曜石制作《Fallout》系列作品，但或许未来有机会？
