The recent daily updates on the official Twitter account of Final Fantasy VII have not only revealed the latest development progress of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth — the game's co-director, Motomu Toriyama, also promised players that they "have made preparations" to ensure that those who haven't played the remake can also fully enjoy Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth.
On the other hand, regarding the game's exploration gameplay, director Naoki Hamaguchi stated in Saturday's update: "Players will be able to journey across the wide and multifaceted world with a high degree of freedom, experiencing a myriad of different stories along the way."
"Players will witness a chain of narrative developments that lie at the very heart of the Final Fantasy VII story while discovering each character's destiny," mentioned Kazushige Nojima, the story and scenario writer, in the subsequent update on Sunday.
Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is scheduled to be released in winter 2023 for PlayStation 5, in which Cloud and his companions will embark on a new journey after escaping Midgar. It is believed that this will bring a refreshing experience to fans of the series. Besides, the remake project of Final Fantasy VII also includes a third installment, which is currently under development.
