Developer Frozenbyte has recently announced the newest installment in their side-scrolling game series Trine, titled Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy, which will be published by THQ Nordic and is set to be released in the summer of 2023 for Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / Nintendo Switch / PC.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is a 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle-adventure game where players will challenge dozens of challenging and beautiful levels in a fantastical fairytale world. They will embark on an adventure with wizard Amadeus, thief Zoya, and knight Pontius, and confront the cunning and sinister villains who seek to seize power. In addition, the game can be played solo or with up to three friends, but the level difficulty will increase accordingly.
