Softstar Entertainment previously released The Bridge Curse Road to Salvation, a horror game adaptation based on the thrilling movie The Bridge Curse, and has since received positive reviews from players on Steam to this day. Furthermore, in March of this year, the official announcement was made that the sequel, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication, is currently in development and is planned for release on PC.
Recently, publisher Gamera Games and developer Softstar Entertainment jointly announced that The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication will be offering a free demo during the Steam Next Fest from October 10 to October 16. This provides an early experience of the game to players worldwide, while also allowing the developers to collect feedback for further optimization of the game.
The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a modern first-person, multi-perspective mystery horror game based on the thriller movie The Bridge Curse 2: Ritual. The story takes place in Wen Hua University, famous for its top ten campus horror legends. The Da Ren Building, which has numerous ghost stories, is about to hold the "Carnival of Horror" joint orientation event. A group of film society students plan to shoot a supernatural horror movie based on mysterious deaths that happened in the campus decades ago, but strange things begin to happen during their night shoot. At the same time, a journalist who receives a mysterious letter comes to the campus to investigate past mysterious disappearances. As they begin to piece together the clues, a massive conspiracy hidden in the shadows begins to emerge. As they try to find a way out and escape the haunted building, they gradually uncover the terrifying truth behind it.
