Unveiled initially during the PlayStation Showcase 2023 event that took place in May this year, the handheld device with the ability to stream PS5 games via WiFi (referred to as "Project Q") and PlayStation's first official wireless earbuds have been officially revealed today.

The former is now called PlayStation Portal, a remote player that claims to "bring the PS5 experience to the palm of your hand". It will launch later this year for $199.99 / 29,980 yen, or around 931 MYR / 270.70 SGD / 11,337.40 PHP.

Incorporating core aspects of the DualSense wireless controller, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, PlayStation Portal also boasts an impressive eight-inch LCD screen capable of 1080p resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second. This ensures a top-notch visual encounter that aligns with the standards set by high-quality games. Seamlessly connecting via Wi-Fi to your PlayStation 5, the device also facilitates a swift transition between gaming on your PlayStation 5 and on PlayStation Portal.

Next up are the Pulse Elite wireless headphones and the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, which could establish direct connection with the PlayStation Portal, utilizing the brand new wireless audio technology known as PlayStation Link. This feature ensures minimal latency, lossless audio transmission, and seamless switching between various PlayStation Link hosts, including the PS5 with the USB adapter and the PlayStation Portal. The standalone PlayStation Link USB adapter will also be available for separate purchase and can be utilized on both PC and Mac platforms.

Pulse Elite is PlayStation's latest wireless headset that promises lossless audio quality. This headset features a retractable boom microphone and advanced AI-powered noise cancellation technology, effectively eliminating unwanted background noises. Additionally, the package includes a charging hanger, providing a convenient solution for both charging and storing the headset. It is available at $149.99 / 18,980 yen, or 698.40 MYR / 203 SGD / 8,498.10 PHP, but the release date is not specified.

Meanwhile, Pulse Explore marks PlayStation's debut in the realm of wireless earbuds, offering an exceptional on-the-go audio experience through dual microphones and AI-enhanced noise cancellation designed to eliminate ambient sounds. It also ensures lossless audio quality and includes a charging case. Available at $199.99 / 29,980 yen, or around 931 MYR / 270.70 SGD / 11,337.40 PHP, its release date is also yet to be announced.
