据官方介绍所述，本作《Soulframe》以自然、恢复和探索等主题为核心，由《Warframe》总监 Steve Sinclair 以及幕后开发团队领衔制作，旨在提供独特的沉浸式体验。此外，这款游戏的故事与世界观灵感来源于吉卜力动画电影《Princess Mononoke》、《The NeverEnding Story》，并受到这些启发创造出一个“工业与自然冲突”的世界，玩家将在此展开一系列的近距离战斗与探索冒险。
