The anime series based on the manga The Legendary Hero Is Dead! created by Subaruichi has released the second PV along with the announcement of additional voice casts. The anime directed by Rion Kujo and produced by Liden Films will begin airing in April 2023.
In The Legendary Hero Is Dead!, the Demon King and his army have been sealed away by the hero Sion Bladen. As the Demon King rises again, Sion returns to the fray to face his sworn enemy. Unfortunately, he was killed by a pig trap dug by the farmer Touka Scott. Necromancer Anri Haysworth had no choice but to put Touka's perverted soul into the deceased body of Sion in order to pose as him. Along with Touka's childhood friend Yuna Eunice, this trio of unlikely heroes must step up to the task at hand.
