以《The Walking Dead》为题材的全新手游《The Walking Dead: Survivors》推出后不久，有眼尖的网民发现，这款游戏的其中一张广告图直接挪用抄袭了《Resident Evil 2 Remake》封面视觉图，而且几乎只是把手游的角色人物覆盖在原本里昂和克莱尔的位置上，甚至出现没 P 好的瑕疵 .... 背景更是一模一样。
本作《The Walking Dead: Survivors》是一款由北京智明星通科技所开发的策略游戏，玩家会在游戏里与多位原作人气人物并肩作战对抗成群的丧尸。而这样的题材也与《Resident Evil 2》多少有些相似，都是对抗丧尸为主，直接挪用《Resident Evil 2》封面的行为非常不可取，但目前官方未作出任何回应。
