根据日本商标局情报透露指出，Konami 近期注册了一个“真魂斗罗”的商标，不知道这是否表示着他们将推出新作或者是同名作品重制版。此外，Sega 也注册了“Shin Chronicle”和“Ultimate Showdown”的商标，至于“Ultimate Showdown”应该是之前公布的《Virtua Fighter 5:Ultimate Showdown》。
