近日 Playstation Studios 负责人 Hermen Hulst 在接受 Youtuber Julien Chièze 的采访时谈及关于索尼第一方游戏登陆 PC 平台的话题，并表示他认为，未来会看到 Playstation 平台和 PC 平台之间的发行将至少间隔一年左右，但服务型游戏可能除外。
除此之外，Hermen Hulst 也解释服务型游戏可能同步登陆 Playstation & PC 平台的原因，因为这类游戏本质上略有不同，而且会希望上线时就立即拥有强大的社区和玩家参与度。目前索尼正在布局未来的服务型游戏，甚至收购了 BUNGIE、HAVEN 等工作室。
