Soon after the global launch of the smartphone game Monster Hunter Now, a collaborative project between CAPCOM and Niantic, on September 14, the game's first limited-time event has recently been announced. The upcoming Diablos Invastion event is scheduled to take place during two time slots, on September 23, 2023 (13:00 - 16:00) and September 24, 2023 (13:00 - 16:00).
Signs of a Diablos invasion have been detected in the desert area. The monster tend to appear in vast parks and similar locations, so it's expected that there will be even more Diablos appearing in parks that have turned into deserts. Diablos is a formidable monster, thus hunters are advised to prepare thoroughly and embark on an investigation of this invasion event with their companions.
It's also worth noting that the official event announcement also mentions that there will be limited-time event tasks, such as taking photos of Diablos in AR mode, which will grant rewards upon completion.
Here are some important points to note for the event:

Diablos will appear in the event for hunters with an HR (Hunter Rank) of at least 11, regardless of their progress in story missions.

Hunters who have already reached HR 11 or higher will automatically receive the event quest in the "Special" section of the quest menu.

The event quests can be completed from September 23, 2023 (00:00) to September 24, 2023 (23:59).

Hunters who complete the quest within the specified time frame will be eligible to receive rewards.
