Publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios announced that Dead Island 2, initially launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Games Store) on April 21, 2023, will be released via Steam on April 22.

In light of the announcement, Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition will be accessible for free on PC via Steam starting today until February 15, while Dead Island: Retro Revenge is being offered at a 75% discount.
