The Japanese romantic comedy series Tonikaku Kawaii (TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You) created by Kenjiro Hata, the author of Hayate the Combat Butler, has released a trailer and key visual for its upcoming season 2, which will begin airing in April 2023. The animation will be produced by Seven Arcs, and the opening song "Setsuna no Chikai" will be performed by Akari Kito.
On a wintry evening with snow falling, Nasa Yuzaki, a boy who was teased in his childhood because of his unique name, comes across a stunning girl after receiving his high school practice exam grades. While trying to approach her, he gets struck by a truck because he wasn't paying attention. But, the girl saves him, and Nasa surprisingly follows her to a bus stop and confesses his love for her. The girl, Tsukasa Tsukuyomi, agrees to be his girlfriend, but on the condition that they get married first. Nasa immediately accepts her proposal and then passes out, waking up later in a hospital. Nasa feels disheartened when he can't locate her again, until he turns 18, when Tsukasa unexpectedly appears at his doorstep. Tsukasa hands him a marriage registration form, marking the beginning of their relationship and their marriage.
