在前阵子，Square Enix 就曾被发现已经注册《Tactics Ogre: Reborn》商标、上架 PS Store 商店后又下架等操作，如今官方正式发表，确定《Tactics Ogre》系列重制版《Tactics Ogre: Reborn》即将在 11 月 11 日发售，登陆 Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Nintendo Switch / PC 平台。本次推出的重制版《Tactics Ogre: Reborn》将基于原作 2010 版本，并改进游戏图形、音乐重制、全新UI界面、重新设计战斗系统、AI调整、更快战斗节奏以及支援自动保存等等。
《Tactics Ogre》系列是在 1995 年推出于超级任天堂上的作品，当年人气可说是相当的高，故事主要是讲述岛国瓦雷利亚上三个民族的种族纷争而演变成的内战，以少数民族沃尔斯塔的少年德尼姆作为游戏主角，叙述他如何平息这场战争的故事，同时游戏中也拥有多种选项让玩家选择，凡是做出的选择都会影响后续的结局。
