前段日子就有传闻说，Riot Games 或许会结束与 Garena 的合作关系直营旗下《英雄联盟》与《联盟战旗》的消息。而这个传闻也在今日官方公告后证实，Riot Games 表示他们将在今年年底结束 Garena 上的合作关系，转为自家旗下的 Riot 伺服器，该伺服器预定将在 2023 年 1 月开始运作。
听到这个消息的玩家，我想第一时间都在想自己充值购买的皮肤该怎么办对吧？为了确保玩家保留目前的账号资料，Riot 和 Garene 表示他们将在 2022 年 11 月 18 日起开放账号连结作业，同时完成了账号连结后依旧可以在 Garena 进行游玩《英雄联盟》或《联盟战旗》，直到 Riot 的伺服器开放。
Riot Games 除了将《英雄联盟》与《联盟战旗》直营以外，未来还会将旗下的《特战英豪 Valorant》、《符文大地传说》和多款开发中的作品一同加入这个大家庭。如今 Riot 还在马来西亚、泰国、菲律宾和印尼等重点市场建立办公司，深化当地的业务并且为该地区的玩家提供高度在地化的服务。
