Co-developed by Motif and Koei Tecmo, Uncharted Waters Origin is set to launch globally on March 7 for PC (Steam & FLOOR) / iOS (App Store) / Android (Google Play). The game published by LINE Games will support English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) languages, along with cross-play functions. Pre-registration is available now.

Uncharted Waters Origin is a sandbox RPG set in the 16th century Age of Discovery, focused on seafaring, trade, combat, and adventure. It is co-developed by Motif, an affiliate development company of LINE Games, and Koei Tecmo. Commemorating the franchise's 30-years legacy, the game is based on the two most popular titles in the series, Uncharted Waters II: New Horizons and Uncharted Waters: Gaiden.

Uncharted Waters Origin has been recreated using Unreal Engine 4, featuring stunning 4K visuals and over 104 fully orchestrated soundtracks, including original tracks by Yoko Kanno, enhancing the immersive experience. The game was initially launched in South Korea, and it won four awards at the 2022 Korea Game Awards, including the Grand Prize, Best Scenario, and Sound categories.
