The latest animated movie based on City Hunter, the manga series created by Tsukasa Hojo, will be titled City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust.

Along with the release of its trailer, it is announced that the movie animated by Sunrise and The Answer Studio will premiere in Fall 2023 in Japan.

The series tells the story of Ryo Saeba, a private detective who is always found chasing after beautiful girls, and Kaori Makimura, a tomboy who becomes his new partner after the death of her brother and Ryo's ex-partner Hideyuki Makimura. This interesting partnership that runs the "City Hunter" business has its own way of fighting against crimes in the city.

Ryo Saeba will continue to be voiced by Akira Kamiya in the upcoming movie, while the opening theme song will also feature the series classic GET WILD by TM NETWORK.
