The situation has recently turned against the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, who have received numerous notifications about copyright infringement and have been requested to resolve the leaks. The moderators of this subreddit have had no choice but to make rule changes, or risk facing action from the relevant authorities.

Despite the notifications, the section has not been shut down and leakers are still able to reveal game content and updates before their official release. The new rule requires leaked images and videos to be uploaded to a hosting website before being released on the forum. However, this measure may not be sufficient, and further regulations may be implemented in the future.
