With just a few days left until the official release of Final Fantasy XVI, physical copies of the game have unsurprisingly surfaced overseas. In response, Square Enix has issued an official statement acknowledging the circulation of the game's physical copies in the market.
The publisher pledge to investigate this incident and take action to prevent any further leaks or spoilers before the official launch. Additionally, they also urge players who have obtained the game to refrain from sharing any live streams, videos, screenshots, or any leaked content, as all such material will be promptly removed and taken down prior to the game's release.
Scheduled to be launched on June 22 for PlayStation 5, Final Fantasy XVI is a brand-new action-adventure RPG where players will take on the role of the protagonist, Clive Rosfield, who is burdened with the mission of protecting his younger brother, Joshua Rosfield. However, due to unexpected events, he embarks on a dark and dangerous path of revenge.
