韩国 NEXON 在 2004 年出品了《爆爆王》衍生竞速游戏《跑跑卡丁车》，并由游戏橘子从 2007 年开始代理台服，相隔近 16 年之后，今日官方宣布因与原厂的合约即将到期，确定将于 2023 年 1 月 31 日正式停服。
此外，从即日起将无法继续注册台服《跑跑卡丁车》账号，紧接着于 11 月 4 日会商城销售的商品会全面调整成LUCCI、KOIN贩售，同时关闭储值渠道，然后 12 月 28 日移除 beanfun!跑跑卡丁车主题包，最终会在 1 月 31 日关停服务器，无法再登入游戏，步入历史。顺带一提，NEXON 计划今年内推出《跑跑卡丁车》系列新作《跑跑卡丁车：飘移》，将登陆 Playstation 4 / Xbox One / iOS / Android 平台，准确上市日期有待另行公布。
