在过去几年，每当在电脑上登入 Steam 账号时，都需要查看手机 APP 上的验证令牌，或者邮件发送令牌等等。而近日，Valve 官方宣布旗下的 Steam Mobile APP 推送了全新改版更新，优化了大部分功能和操作界面，包括可透过手机上浏览游戏库远程下载游戏到 PC 端、更不容易错过优惠通知，以及让登陆过程更安全和简易流畅，增加了 QR 扫码功能，只需在电脑打开 STEAM 便会看到 QR 二维码，随后打开手机扫码便可登入，不必再依赖验证令牌。
