CAPCOM previously announced that both Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 would be coming to the iOS App Store, playable on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPads and Macs with M1 chips or higher. Resident Evil Village is confirmed to be released on October 30, while Resident Evil 4 is planned for release later this year.
With only 5 days left until the release of Resident Evil Village on App Store, the official announcement of a commemorative promotion has been made. Players who purchase the game before November 20 will enjoy a 60% discount.
It's also worth noting that the iOS version of Resident Evil Village will support a "play before you buy" option, allowing players to experience some of the early content before deciding whether to purchase and unlock the rest of the game.
According to the Apple keynote, games ported to the iOS platform will not only benefit from the impressive performance of the A17 PRO chip but also utilize MetalFX graphics technology to enhance game visuals, even supporting ray tracing technology.
