时隔多年，Valve 旗下人气 MOBA 竞技游戏《DOTA 2》在今日由全球知名电竞公司 ESL Gaming 正式宣布，今年的《DOTA 2》电竞比赛 ESL One Malaysia 2022 杯确定将在 2022 年 8 月 23 日 - 2022 年 8 月 28 日开打，而本次的比赛会场将在“Resorts World Genting Arena of Stars”举办。
从官方的赛程表中我们可以得知，这次 ESL One 2022 共邀请了来自全球强大的 12 支战队进行较量，起先是以 BO2 的赛制进行，随后挤入八强的队伍采用 BO3 赛制，决赛则是以 BO5 的形式来决出冠军，最终成功夺取冠军的战队将收获高达 40 万美金的奖池。至于 ESL One Malaysia 2022 杯的入场券计划于 2022 年 6 月 10 日开始贩售，价格从 RM69 - RM399 之间。
