Natsume has recently announced the release date for the latest title in the Harvest Moon series, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos. The game is scheduled to be released on September 26 and will be available on Playstation 4 / Playstation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series / Nintendo Switch / PC platforms.

Anthos is the land that players will explore in Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, and it is inhabited by the Harvest Sprites who safeguard both nature and people, as well as the Harvest Goddess. Unfortunately, about 10 years ago, a volcanic eruption occurred in the region, forcing the Harvest Goddess and her Harvest Sprites to utilize all their powers to protect the people. Although the people were rescued, the villages were cut off from each other due to the destruction caused by the eruption. The Harvest Goddess, however, believed that the villages and people would eventually be reunited, so she left a message in a bottle and sent it into the ocean, along with a letter and a magic key, before going into a deep slumber.
