The classic fighting game series Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, previously released on the PS2 platform by Bandai and Spike, is set to be rebooted with a new installment, as announced at the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour. However, no release date or further details have been revealed yet.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was originally released in October 2005, allowing players to control various characters from the Dragon Ball franchise and engage in intense battles in 3D stages reminiscent of the anime. The development team later released two sequels, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 in 2006 and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 in 2007.
