Developer MINTROCKET, known for Dave the Diver, has recently unveiled their latest creation Wakerunners, an action game that revolves around team-based battles and is scheduled to conduct a playtest during the Steam Next Fest from February 5 to 12.

According to official description, Wakerunners is set in a near-future Earth. In this game, players can control different characters and engage in fast-paced 4v4 or 5v5 battles with other teams through a top-down perspective in various arenas. The game offers a variety of game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Control Conquest, Command Siege, Escort, and Raider, each putting players' skills and tactics to test.

Players have the option to play the role of either a Waker or a Re-man, each possessing unique attack styles, movement techniques, and Ultimate abilities. Therefore, the key to victory lies in the strategic lineup and cooperation of the team.

Currently, Wakerunners is confirmed to conduct a playtest and will be available on PC (Steam). The release date for an early access version or the full game is not announced at this time.
