Published by Xbox Game Studios and developed by Relic Entertainment, it was announced at the Gamescom 2023 ONL livestream this morning that Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition is now officially available on Xbox One & Xbox Series, and will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass lineup.

Age of Empires IV is a real-time strategy game set in the backdrop of the medieval era. The game features multiple civilizations, including China, England, Mongolia, Delhi Sultanate, and others, each with its own unique abilities and advantages. As for the core gameplay, it remains largely consistent with the previous installments. Players will lead their civilizations through various historical epochs, collecting resources, constructing buildings, engaging in military activities, and participating in conflicts between civilizations. The gameplay challenges players' strategic prowess and skills, much like its predecessors.
