前阵子，有网友发现 KONAMI 突然更新《幻想水浒传》的商标，让许多粉丝纷纷猜测他们是否会在今年举办的“Tokyo Games Show”游戏展上发表相关情报的想法。不出所料，KONAMI 在今日的 TGS 2022 直播节目上正式公布了自家旗下《幻想水浒传 1 & 2 高清重制版》的消息。
还在节目中表示《幻想水浒传 1 & 2 高清重制版》将会更换了所有人物的立绘，画面尺寸进行调整，色彩也会变得更加鲜艳。不仅如此，高清重制版的音效方面也获得了增加，支持自动保存系统、倍速战斗以及显示对话文本等新功能。《幻想水浒传 1 & 2 高清重制版》预定将在 2023 年推出，登陆 Playstation 4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch / Steam 平台，目前 STEAM 页面上显示本作将支援中文字幕。
