开发团队 OSome Studio 曾在去年就已经表示他们正在开发一款以蓝精灵为主题的 3D 动作冒险游戏，该作品将拥有“崭新的故事剧情”以及“大量的幽默、激动、友谊、悬念”等内容。此外，除了《The Smurfs:Mission Vileaf》，接下来的 5 年中将推出另外 4 款蓝精灵主题的游戏，每一款游戏都将探索不同的类型。
