Last week, Rockstar Games released the first trailer for the highly anticipated GTA 6, which caught the attention and sparked discussions among players worldwide. The trailer featured several recreations of real-life events, including a man pulling an alligator out of a swimming pool, the hammer lady, and a scene resembling Florida Joker Lawrence Sullivan.
However, the Florida Joker, upon seeing the trailer, asserted that Rockstar Games had violated his portrait rights without authorization. As a result, he demanded $2 million in compensation.
Soon after, Roger Clark, the actor who played Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, weighed in on the matter. He expressed that situations like these are not uncommon. Clark noted that Rockstar Games has its own legal team, and they are well-versed in their boundaries, suggesting that they would probably disregard the claims made by the Florida Joker.
Besides Arthur Morgan's actor voicing his opinion, Ned Luke, the voice actor for Michael De Santa in GTA V, also criticized the Florida Joker.
