Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was the biggest winner at the first-ever MOBIES - Mobile Gaming Awards. Held in Los Angeles, the event was a celebration of the best mobile gaming and esports titles that made huge strides within the industry over the past year. Most notably, the M4 World Championship was recognised as the top 'Mobile Esports Tournament Of The Year.' This marks the first time that the international tournament series has won a global award for its efforts in mobile esports gaming.

MOONTON Games and Zenway Productions last week announced that the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Singapore will return on August 5 for its sixth season. Teams will compete for the SG$100,000 prize pool and the right to represent Singapore at the M5 World Championship taking place from November in the Philippines, which will have a US$900,000 (SG$1,200,000) pot.
