According to reports from Japanese media, a 41-year-old employee named Yuki Yamazaki under Konami was recently arrested by the local police department on suspicion of attempted murder. The employee attacked his 48-year-old superior with a fire extinguisher. Fortunately, there is no life-threatening situation, and the alleged attacker has been fired.

As for the motive behind the murder attempt, Yuki Yamazaki revealed to the police that he had suffered workplace bullying while working at Konami, which led to his extreme actions. In 2020, both the victim and Yamazaki belonged to the same department, but Yamazaki was later transferred to other departments due to deteriorating interpersonal relationships.

Although it cannot be confirmed yet whether it's the same person, the name Yuki Yamazaki once appeared on the list of staffs for Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Tag Force Special.
