Created by Yoshito Usui, manga series Crayon Shin-chan will release its first 3DCG film titled Shin Jigen! Crayon Shin-chan The Movie Chōnōryoku Dai Kessen: Tobetobe Temakizushi ("New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan the Movie Great Superpower Battle: Flying Handrolled Sushi").

The movie, which took almost 7 years from conception to production, has released a trailer and key visuals, and is set to premiere on August 4 in Japan.

One day, a mysterious light falls from space onto an ordinary residential area in the Saitama Prefecture. Shin-chan, who was eating dinner at the time, was irradiated by the white light and accidentally gained superpowers in his buttocks. He could make objects float in the air as long as he concentrates his energy on his buttocks. On the other hand, a man who was irradiated by dark powers also gained superpowers and starts rampaging. How will Shin-chan use his superpower to save the world from the hands of the man who wants to destroy the world?
