Koei Tecmo's Nobunaga's Ambition was first released on March 30, 1983. Today marks its 40th anniversary, with the officials announcing the latest game in the series, Nobunaga's Ambition: Shutsujin, which is now accepting closed beta test applications for Japanese accounts only until April 6. The test is scheduled to take place from April 12 to 18.
Nobunaga's Ambition: Shutsujin is a geolocation-based game set in the Japanese Sengoku period. It has only been confirmed to be available on iOS and Android platforms as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. More gameplay and details will be revealed in the future.
